An insight on Stump Removal
A stump is removed by grinding it with our Vermeer SC30TX machine four to eight inches below ground level, leaving behind chips and mulch that can be used for compost or gardening. We will fill in where the stump used to be the best we can with the surrounding dirt and mulch, and you can then plant grass or put some sod down.
Grinding is a great option compared to digging with a backhoe to remove a stump. The surrounding lawn or garden are not disturbed or damaged and it is a much neater job then digging a hole in your yard. Our machine can also fit in locations where a bigger piece of equipment won't, such as a side yard where space tends to be tighter and through fences 36" wide. Our machine also has tracks as opposed to wheels which creates less impact on your yard from the weight and maneuvering of the machine.
Removal of your stump can cost approx. $75.00 and upwards depending on the size, location and complexity of the job. Renting the machine yourself can cost you $175.00 and upwards. By having us grind your stump you are saving money and your valuable time.
